Is Google Adsense The Easiest Money Online?

For the last couple of months, Google Adsense has dominated forums, discussions and newsletters all over the Internet. Already, there are tales of fabulous riches to be made and millions made by those who are just working from home. It seems that Google Adsense have already dominated the internet marketing business and is now considered the easiest way to making money online.

The key to success with Adsense is the placing of ads on pages that are receiving high traffic for high demand keywords. The higher the cost-per-click to the advertiser, the more you will receive per click from your site. Obviously, it does not pay to target low cost-per-click keywords and place them on pages that do not receive hits.

With all the people getting online and clicking away everyday, it is no wonder why Google Adsense has become an instant hit.

For some who are just new to this market, it would be a blow to their pride knowing that their homepage is buried somewhere in the little ads promoting other people’s services. But then, when they get the idea that they are actually earning more money that way, all doubts and skepticism is laid to rest.

There are two major, and clever, factors that some successful webmaster and publishers are learning to blend together in order to make money easier using Adsense.

Targeting high traffic pages on your website. If you check on your logs, you will discover that many of your visitors are taking advantage of the free affiliate marketing resources and ebooks that you are offering on your site. In simple words, your ads are working effectively and are generating more clicks. It also means more money for you.

Placing Adsense links on pages that are producing little, or better yet, no profit. By placing Adsense on a free resources page, you will reduce the amount of potential customers being lost to other sites. Tricky, but effective nonetheless.

When learned to work effectively, these two factors are actually a good source of producing a minimal amount of revenue from a high traffic page. Many people are using this strategy to pick up some extra and cash with Adsense. This is also especially rewarding to informational sites that focus their efforts on delivering powerful affiliate link free content to their visitors. Now they can gain a monetary return on their services.

With the many techniques that people are now learning on how to make the easiest money by their Adsense, it is not surprising that Google is trying everything to update and polish their Adsense in order to maintain their good image.

The possibility of adding is 2nd tier in Adsense is not impossible. With all the people spending more time in their Adsense now and still more getting into this line of marketing, there is no doubt about the many new improvements yet to be made. Imagine the smiles on the faces of the webmasters and publishers all around the world if ever they sign up for sub-affiliates and double or even triple the amount that they are already earning.

The one particularly handy money-making feature that is available with Adsense now is the ability to filter out up to 200 urls. These gives webmasters the option to block out low value offers from their pages as well as competitors to their websites. Talk about taking only those that are advantageous and discarding the ones that seem “useless”.

With Google Adsense, the possibilities are limitless. Yet there is also the possibility of someone taking advantage of the easy money process that this internet marketing is doing. If you think more about it, these negative factors may force Google to break down and thrash Adsense in the process. If that happens, people would have to go back to the old ways of internet marketing that does not make money online as easy as Adsense.

For now, however, Google Adsense is here to stay. As long as there are people wanting to earn some easy cash online just using their talents, the future ahead is looking good. Besides with all the strict guidelines that Google is enforcing over Adsense, it will take awhile for the Adsense privileges to be spammed and even terminated.

Increase Your Adsense Earnings With 6 Easy Steps

6 simple steps to increase your Adsense profits.

One great way to increase your profits is by setting up Adsense to your websites. Some webmasters are generating hundreds of dollars a day from Adsense ads on their websites. How are they doing it? Follow these 6 proven tips and you too can improve your Adsense earnings.

1. Choose the right format. Currently Google offers 11 different styles of text ads and 9 styles of banner ads. The one format that works well for the majority is the large rectangle (336X280). This format tends to result in higher click through rates. Using this format will make the ads look like normal web links.

2. Choose the placement of your ad. If Adsense is at the bottom of your page, then move it towards the top. You want Adsense in a spot where people will see it right away. You will be amazed how the location of your Adsense code can affect your earnings.

3. Look into automation using SSI. SSI stands for server side included. With this method, you simply save your Adsense code to a text file. Then you can upload this file to the root directory of your web server. You can then use SSI on a page and call the test file. This is a great method for somebody that wants to add Adsense to numerous pages on there website.

4. Customize the palette or color of your ad. You will want to choose a color that will go well with the background of your site. You want the Adsense ad to blend in with the rest of your page, not stand out from it. This will also result in more clicks.

5. Use the correct content. Google will put ads on your website that relate to your content. Therefore, you must be specific with the content of your page. Make sure that each of your pages has a specific theme or topic.

6. Dare to be different and unique. There is bound to be many other websites sharing the same topic as you and some of them will probably have Adsense ads running. Try to make your page more desirable then your competitors. You goal is for visitors to click on your Adsense ads, not ads from another site.

One word of warning. Adsense ads can generate income for you but they also send your visitors away from your site. If you have a website that has a high profit potential for the goods or service that you are selling, then you want to keep your visitors on your site.

Adsense, Adsense, Adsense. What They Don't Tell You!

Adsense? It's all the rage so why is hardly anybody making any money from Adsense? There are more folk making $1 than $7,500 so what's all the hype about?

Learning how to earn an income using Adsense is actually very simple. You can fork out your $50 or $100 and that's the learning curve done with. It's only a matter of placing the Adsense code in a certain position on your web pages. Even the experts have differing views on this so remember to buy a good Adsense tracker that will let you know exactly what's happening on your pages.

Like everything else, it's just adopting a consistent and methodical approach to your Adsense marketing.

The Huge problem that hardly anybody tells you about before you buy the Adsense product is that you really must have traffic to your site to make it work. Many people think that by being accepted for a Google Adsense account means that Google is going to send traffic your way. It doesn't work like that. You are responsible for getting your own traffic.

So, like just about everybody else, you are now stuck with a $50 Adsense product, highly optimized web pages and, well, I guess a $50 Adsense product and highly optimized we pages!

It's the old cart before the horse system and I fell foul of it myself so I can sympathize with you. Get traffic to your website first. Don't get hung up on Adsense and don't go spending money on ANY Adsense product until you have website visitors. I'm not talking a "flood" as the gurus like to call it but a nice gently trickle to start off with will do just fine.

As a side note you don't actually have to buy any Adsense product. All the information is given on the Adsense help pages, the Adsense blog is great and the guys at Adsense support are really efficient and helpful. Buying an Adsense product does however make you feel more "comfortable" because you are doing what someone else is doing and if it works for them then it must work for you – right?

Work on getting traffic and building your list.

One of the best ways you can do this is to write and submit articles. It is probably the cheapest and most effective method to build your traffic, build your list and build your rankings in the Search Engines.

It won't happen overnight but if done correctly it won't take that long. Don't get hung up on Google. It could take months to be indexed but article syndication builds those all important anchor text links back to your website which Google loves so you are preparing the ground.

Other Search Engines will probably pick you up very quickly and it is surprising where your link will be found. The smaller niche search engines will definitely index you and send a small amount of traffic and also provide a one way anchor text link.

If you don't think you can write articles then think again and give it some serious consideration. Think of the fun you can have and the knowledge you can gain from researching new topics. The web will always be hungry for quality content.

The latest craze of producing 1000's of sub-standard articles in seconds using software will be over before long as the search engines really don't want this rubbish in their database.

Build your website with quality content, submit quality articles and watch your income soar – and it doesn't have to be with Adsense!

The Google Adsense Money Checks Or Extra Income Checks-----Part 3 Of 3

Since I have been using AdSense and getting AdSense Money checks, I have come to learn some useful tips that would help you make money with AdSense. These tips, along with the systems in my e-book, helped me increase my AdSense income by 560%. If you are starting, check out these tips before you start using AdSense. If you’re already using AdSense, incorporate these tips into your AdSense program and see your income soar.

This is part 3 of 3 of these tips. You can get the other parts at my website: http://www.extra-income-ideas.com/articles.html
or in my AdSense Money E-Book: http://www.bye925.com/adm

Making Money with AdSense -- Tip #7:

Think about segmenting your sites: making some pages for high search engine traffic, other pages to sell products, and still other pages just for Google AdSense.

To implement this, you’ll need to recognize that different pages on your site can have different purposes. You may have pages designed to sell specific products. Others may be designed to rank high in the search engines (but don't ever try to trick the search engines). Still others can be designed for Google AdSense.

Now, once you know which pages you're creating for AdSense, your job is simple; select an appropriate keyword (or key phrase).

Then you’ll use that keyword as the file name and put dashes between the words. You would use the file name like 'water-gardening.html' for your water gardening page.

Best case scenario is that you’re able to select keywords that are the highest paying keyword on the topic. By tweaking the file name, you may be able to improve your AdSense results dramatically.

Making Money with AdSense -- Tip #8:

Knock yourself out to make high quality information pages.

The ideal Google AdSense page should have great content about a very specific topic. Take pains to be very clear about what the topic is, and carefully choose the keyword (or key phrase) describing the topic. Users don’t like vague pages that don’t make it very clear what the page is all about.

Don’t even think about trying to 'trick' AdSense. They have penalties, including getting kicked out. Don't create a page on one topic and give it a file name about a different topic—that’s too confusing.

In a nutshell, you want to make sure the page you create offers great value to people interested in the topic. When you provide excellent information on a specific topic, your visitors will benefit and will be more likely to click through to relevant AdWords.

Making Money with AdSense -- Tip #9:

Select vertical AdWords format.

Everyone’s seen way too many horizontal banner ads up top. Thus, Google recommends you choose the vertical -- not horizontal -- format to display your AdWords. I agree. People have become "banner blind" to a horizontal format. Plus, Google has "trained" us to click on relevant text ads on their own site and they use the vertical format.

Making Money with AdSense -- Tip #10:

Make sure you display AdWords prominently.

It’s to your financial advantage to put the AdWords near the top of your page on the right. Make sure there is enough "breathing room" -- i.e. white space around the ads -- so that they will easily attract your visitors.

Making Money with AdSense -- Tip #11:

Just don’t do it--don't cheat.

I know it’s tempting, because it seems so easy and it’s just sitting there waiting for you to do it, but do not click on the AdWords displayed on your own site to increase your revenue. Google (rightfully) frowns on this.

Plus, Google has some of the smartest engineers around, and they are very good at detecting this kind of fraud. And really, for an extra $1, is it worth getting kicked out of a money-maker like AdSense? I think not…

In conclusion, I want to say that these strategies can help you maximize your revenue from Google AdSense. And I personally guarantee that you’ll have a whole lot of fun creating content pages on topics you have a passion for.

So what’re you waiting for? Go to Google AdSense right now, and start getting those AdSense Money checks!

The Google Adsense Money Checks Or Extra Income Checks-----Part 2 Of 3

Since I have been using AdSense and getting AdSense Money checks, I have come to learn some useful tips that would help you make money with AdSense. These tips, along with the systems in my e-book, helped me increase my AdSense income by 560%. If you are starting, check out these tips before you start using AdSense. If you’re already using AdSense, incorporate these tips into your AdSense program and see your income soar.

This is part 2 of 3 of these tips. You can get the other parts at my website: http://www.extra-income-ideas.com/articles.html
or in my AdSense Money E-Book: http://www.bye925.com/adm

Making Money with AdSense -- Tip #4:

You want to make new pages with higher paying keywords (while keeping it real and relevant).

Sometimes, selecting different keywords on the same topic can really make a difference in earnings.

Pretend you have a gardening site and you want to create some new pages.

By carefully selecting which topics to focus on first, you can dramatically increase your income.

With the Overture tool mentioned above, you can find out that 'water gardening' currently has a maximum price of $0.50, while 'gardening zone' is only $0.05. That means you can earn 10 times more by creating a page on 'water gardening' than 'gardening zones'! Which one to choose…yeah, that’s tough!

What you want to do is use information to decide which relevant keywords to focus on as you go through the process of making new pages for your site.

Making Money with AdSense -- Tip #5:

Build a new site on high paying keywords.

This is one of my most lucrative pieces of advice: create a brand new site to take advantage of Google AdSense by deliberately selecting a topic with high paying keywords.

Then, of course, you deliver dynamite content on that topic.

But how do you know what the highest paying keywords are?

Another tool you can use comes from pay-per-click search engine, 7Search. 7Search has a page on the 100 highest paying keywords. Unfortunately, it’s not perfect. The tool often 'times out' and gives you an error when you try to access the page. My best advice is just be patient and try several times to get this list—it’s worth it.

Making Money with AdSense -- Tip #6:

Pull in qualified traffic to your site.

Basic marketing 101 says if you get more qualified visitors to your site, more people will naturally click on the displayed AdWords, and you'll earn more.

If read the chapters 6, 7, 8, & 9 of my AdSense Money e-book that I mentioned above, you’ll find some dynamite info.

In closing, I want to say that these strategies can help you maximize your revenue from Google AdSense. Look for my other tips and supercharge your AdSense Income.

So what’re you waiting for? Go to Google AdSense right now, and start getting those revenue checks!

The Google Adsense Money Checks Or Extra Income Checks-----Part 1 Of 3

Since I have been using AdSense and getting AdSense Money checks, I have come to learn some useful tips that would help you make money with AdSense. These tips, along with the systems in my e-book, helped me increase my AdSense income by 560%. If you are starting, check out these tips before you start using AdSense. If you’re already using AdSense, incorporate these tips into your AdSense program and see your income soar.

This is part 1 of 3 of these tips. You can get the other parts on at my website: http://www.extra-income-ideas.com/articles.html or my AdSense Money E-Book: http://www.bye925.com/adm

Making Money with AdSense -- Tip #1:
Start now! It’s as easy as falling off a log to generating revenue with Google AdSense. After you're accepted to the program, just add a few lines of html code to your site (Google shows you how once you're accepted) -- and voila!

Within a few minutes, your site will begin displaying AdWords, and so you can start making money. Each day you wait means you don’t make the bucks you could. So start now.

Making Money with AdSense -- Tip #2:
Make content pages for your site -- and put AdWords on them. Assuming your page is a decent one, the more pages you have displaying AdWords, the more money you'll earn.

If you already have a website, display AdWords on more pages.

And always, always, always focus on making more great content pages. I suggest that you budget time each week for creating pages (and sites) on topics you love. You'll find more on creating AdSense content pages in Tip #8.

And it’s especially good if these content pages are very clearly focused. Then, Google will be able to serve highly relevant AdWords to your users. This means your visitors will be more interested in the ads, which results in higher click through rates -- and more money for you!

Making Money with AdSense -- Tip #3:
Whenever you can, use higher paying keywords.

Obviously, you'll earn more if the average AdWord that Google displays pays more per click.

The question is: how do you get Google to display higher paying keywords?

Well, for one thing, don't get greedy and create pages on unrelated keywords just because they pay more. In other words, don't create a page on 'cell phone plans' on your motorcycle tire site just because 'cell phone plans' pays more than ‘motorcycle tires.’

How to find out which keywords pay best? If you're a Google AdWords advertiser, you can log into your AdWords account and experiment.

If you're not an AdWords advertiser, use a free tool at the pay-per-click search engine, Overture.

Overture’s tool lets you see what advertisers are paying on Overture for each keyword. Sure, Overture and Google don’t pay the same. But they’re not all that different, and this tool can give you a general idea of which keywords will pay more than others.

(Also, don’t’ forget Google’s commission, so you have to allow for their cut on the amount an advertiser pays for each click.)

In closing, I want to say that these strategies can help you maximize your revenue from Google AdSense. Look for my other tips and supercharge your AdSense Income.

So what’re you waiting for? Go to Google AdSense right now, and start getting those AdSense money checks!

AdSense Stats and Performance 101

As more and more people are getting into the AdSense game, there seem to be many questions asked again and again by the newcomers. Here, I have compiled detailed explanations to some common AdSense terms, facts, and performance tips. Terminology Real Stats (Figures based on actual performance tracking updated several times a day) Page Impressions: The number of times an ad unit (a collection of 1 to 4 ads). If you have two ad units on a page, then every time the page loads you get two page impressions. Page Impressions DO include PSA (Public Service Ads) and Alternate Ads. Clicks: The number of times someone clicks on an ad. Clicks on PSA will be included in this stat as well. Earnings: Money you’ve made. Derived Stats (Figures calculated from the real stats) Clickthrough Rate: Clicks/Page Impressions. It is expressed as a percentage. Effective CPM:. Earnings per thousand page impressions. Calculated by 1000 X Earnings / Page Impressions EPC: Your EPC is not displayed because it does not really matter. EPC stands for Earnings Per Click (Earnings/Clicks) and is frequently talked about. Facts (What we discovered) 1. Stats Update Frequency/Delay: Although AdSense stats usually updates every couple hours, you don’t need to panic at all if you see no change in your stats for over 12 hours. Even if other webmasters are seeing normal updates. 2. Don’t worry about anomalies in your stats during the course of the day. These are not accurate. There could be delays in the update due to one reason or another. Only when you see figures for a new day can you know that the figures for the previous day are not going to change any more. 3. Sometimes the stats are carried forward several days. This happens when Google decides to freeze your clicks and earnings for fraud checking/tracking purposes or server delays. Thus, you may notice your earnings/clicks shoot straight up when you least expect it. It is possible for your CTR to go up by as much as 10% and your CPM to raise $200 over the normal. 4. The update on the different stats are not synchronized. For example, when you check your account, the page impressions may be freshed updated, while the clicks and earnings are from two hours ago. Thus, there may be a sharp drop/increase in the derived stats. Due to this, you don’t need to fret over all these little bumps. 5. Often delays in updates foreshadow changes to the AdSense program. For example, slow updates preceded introduction of channels, TOS changes, and addition of new languages. 6. Channels are a great way for you to track the performance of your ad on a particular page/site. If you want to use the same code for all of your pages, you can also use the recently added URL channels. Of course, channel data are delayed by two days. Performance Tips 1. EPC doesn’t matter! That is because you have absolutely no control over your EPC. Your EPC is influenced by many variables including your webpage content, advertiser’s budget, seasonal fluctuations and more. Thus, the productive thing to do is concentrate on the factors that you have control over such as CTR and page impressions. 2. How well am I doing? Many of us probably wonder how we are doing compared to other AdSense users, including myself. However, we really can’t get a good sense of the average if Google doesn't disclose their figures, which they don’t. Since people doing well with AdSense generally don’t like to reveal their earnings due to the fear that they may be terminated by the program, any discussion about an average EPC/CTR/CPM is a waste of time. 3. From various experiments by myself and other webmasters, we can conclude (at least for now) that using image/text ads instead of just text ads will dramatically decrease you CTR because of various reasons. (i.e. fewer advertisers, banner blindness etc.) However, the EPC is usually slightly higher. 4. Blend in or stand out? This is completely site dependent. Sometimes, people will never click on your ads unless you “trick” them into doing so, although this is not so good for long term. Other sites will require your ad to scream in your visitor’s face to get good clicks. Do some extensive testing to find out what’s good for your site. 5. Make good use of the URL filter feature. Blocking repetitive (eBay ads) or boring ads (free smilies) will definitely increase your CTR. 6. Large rectangles placed above the fold will often generate most revenue. However, this may not be a good long term solution since such and ad is usually obstrusive and have little aesthetic value. 7. If you run a forum site, you may notice that your earnings are very low. Here is a solution: use a simple cookie-based php script that only displays AdSense ads once every 10 page views -- essentially a counter counts down from 10 to 0 and on 0 displays an AdSense block. Between the AdSense ads, display regular banner ads. Although your AdSense page impressions may be down, you will notice your CTR skyrocketing, and a large increase in overall earnings. In conclusion: Play around with your ad to maximize your performance, and look at the big picture in your stats!

Three reasons why AdSense doesn't work well on forums.

If you had big dreams of making a mint with AdSense on your very popular forum, you were probably weeping after looking at the actual bottom line once you did so.

The fact is, AdSense doesn't work so well on forums. In fact, none of the AdSense Case Studies are about forums.

Why do forums do so badly? There are 3 main reasons.

Visitors in the Wrong Frame of Mind

If someone is doing research for a particular product or service, and they land on your article regarding that product or service, they are likely buy minded. They are actually looking to buy.

With forums, however, most people are interaction minded. They're not looking to buy something. Rather, they are looking to discuss something.

Those two frames of mind are very different. In the first case the visitor may click on an AdSense ad because they are shopping around and want to explore the options. In the second case the visitor isn't paying attention to anything on the page but what people are saying. They might follow a recommended product link posted by a user, but they are far less likely to click on an AdSense ad.

Repeat Visitors Make For Low CTR

Another reason why CTR on forums is low is because most of the visitors to a forum have been there dozens of times before. They've either already seen and visited the ads they were interested in, or they're so used to seeing them that they start to ignore them (read: "ad blindness").

Besides, you may show 500,000 page views on a forum for the month, but if the average repeat visitor views 10 pages a day reading threads, then your actually number of visitors is far lower. So your stats themselves may be deceiving.

Ad-Targeting is Tough on Forums

Finally, it's tough to target ads on forums, because discussions tend to wander around and around, touching on this and that as the main topic is discussed. Any human could tell you the basic topic of a discussion like that, but it's a lot harder for computers to figure out–even if it is Google's computers.

So you often get mis-targeted ads on forums, and that, too, brings down your click-through rate.

What Can Be Done?

Google offers a number of forum optimization techniques for AdSense on their adsense blog. They will help, but don't expect miracles.

Also, AdSense guru Joel Comm's AdSense Secrets ebook has an outstanding chapter on how to make AdSense work with forums and Internet communities. If you haven't read his ebook yet, I recommend you do so.

Here's another method you may want to try. Remember that your forum visitors are usually very interested in the subject matter–interested enough to go through the registration process for your forum and discuss it!

What you can do is leverage those visitors by adding a place to your site for articles and product reviews related to the forum subject. When you post a new article or review, let the forum members know about it: post a thread requesting feedback on the article, or better yet, email your member list requesting that they read and review the article.

This accomplishes two things:

1) It reminds people who haven't been to your forum in a while that it exists (see this related post about email list building). It's easy to register for a forum and forget about it. But a friendly request for an article review can reactivate some inactive members, which creates more content on your forum when they post and can generate more revenue from clicks.

2) It gets your members out of "interaction" mode by pulling them away from a discussion and into an article, which increases the likelihood that they will click on the related ads.

Summing it all Up

There's no reasons why forums can't be profitable with AdSense, though their click-through rates almost never achieve the double-digits. Most forum owners would be happy to have a low single-digit CTR. But following the techniques above can help you improve that bottom line and find new ways of leveraging your user-base.

Remember, too, that all of the forum content is created for you for free by your members, so it's really all free money anyway. Jonathan Leger is a well known AdSense and Marketing guru, and he wants to give you $371 in free gifts for visiting his Google AdSense blog.

3 Reasons Why Adsense is Essential for Content Sites

To understand the importance of Adsense to your content site, you must first be familiar with how it works.

If you really think about it, the concept is quite easy to comprehend. A java script is inserted into a certain website by the publisher or the webmaster. Each time the page is opened, the java script will access advertisements from the Adsense program. The ads that are targeted should therefore be related to the content that is contained on the web page serving the ad. If a visitor clicks on an advertisement, the webmaster serving the ad earns a portion of the money that the advertiser is paying the search engine for the click.

All of the tracking and payments are handled by the search engine, thereby providing a simple way for webmasters to show content-sensitive and targeted advertisements without the administrative headaches of marketing and so forth. It would appear that there is no shortage of advertisers in the program and this allows webmasters to focus on making cash from these search engines.

Because Adsense has already come a long way in understanding the needs of publishers and webmasters, this is the first reason for having it on your site. It has also continued with updating the appearance of a more advanced system, allowing full customisation of the advertisements. Webmasters are given the chance to choose from many different types of text ad formats to better complement their website and fit their webpage layout.

There is also a possibility of more than one click through when the visitor is not aware of what they are actually clicking on. It may also appeal to the people visiting and they may take the next step of finding out more information. This way the people behind the Adsense will get their content read and making profit in the process.

Reason number two is that Adsense publishers can track not only how their sites are progressing but also the earnings based on the webmaster-defined channels. The recent improvements in the search engines gives webmasters the ability to observe how their ads are performing using customizable reports that has the capacity to detail page impressions, clicks and click-through rates. Webmasters and publishers can now track specific ad formats, colors and pages within a website. Trends are also easily spotted.

Because of real-time reporting, the efficiency of any alterations can be assessed quickly. It will be apparent what people are making the most clicks on, therefore allowing the webmasters the ability to meet the changing demands while generating cash. Webmasters are also able to group web pages by URL, domain, ad type or category, which will provide them some accurate insight on which pages, ads and domains are performing best.

The third and final reason is that the advertisers have realized the benefits associated having their ads served on targeted websites. This increases the possibility that a prospective web surfer will have an interest in their product and services as a result of the content and its constant maintenance. Unlike those who are not using Adsense in their sites, they are given the option of having other people do their content for them, giving them the benefit of having successful and money-generating web sites.

Adsense is all about targeted content, the more targeted your content is, the more targeted the search engines' ads will be. There are some web masters and publishers who are focused more on their site contents and how best to maintain them rather than the cash that the ads will generate for them. This is the part where the effectiveness is working its best.

There was a time when people were not yet aware of the money to be achieved from advertisements. The cash generated only came into existence when the webmasters and publishers realized how they can make Adsense be that generator. In those days, the content was the most important factor and was taken quite seriously. It still is but its importance has increased with the allure of money.

5 Tips To Earning Bigger Money Through Adsense

As you use Google's AdSense for more and more time you begin to learn from the mistakes of the past, and you slowly begin to realize which of your actions kept your site from reaching its full potential.

As you use Google's AdSense for more and more time you begin to learn from the mistakes of the past, and you slowly begin to realize which of your actions kept your site from reaching its full potential.

An important part to making a mistake is telling people about it and teaching them how to avoid making the same mistake. So this is a list of the top five mistakes people using AdSense make.

You should read them well, and see if any of them is applicable to your contents. If it is, you must stop and attempt to fix such errors as quickly as possible.

The first major no-no that everyone seems to be hitting at one point or another has to do with breaking the rules. Google's AdSense is a great program but it relies on you respecting a few set rules.

The most important thing is not to create "artificial clicks" through any means possible. Never click your own links, never ask your friends or close ones to click the links and never, by any means have your content encouraging the visitors to click the links. You run the risk of being permanently banned, and that will definitely damage your revenue.

Failing to comply with Google's terms could have your AdSense account suspended. And this is why this rule is by all means the most important one of all. It's because this is the difference between life or death.

The second thing users get wrong a lot of time is having a bad color palette for ads. Many times this happens because the publishers aren't knowledgeable enough to change default color palettes.

Others just can't seem to spend enough time in changing those defaults. Having bad ads that stand out is sure to push people away from clicking; whilst having something which is clearly visible yet distinctive will.

Third, of course, the position of the ads is probably the key element you should get right if you want to maximize your profits with AdSense. This is noted in a lot of places on the web and Google talks about this as well. Google can provide you with statistics which illustrate what positions work particularly well on your website.

Fourthly, banner ads are also a very bad idea if you're using AdSense. 480x60 type ads are a sure way to drive many people away as most Internet surfers have developed a natural resistance to such means of advertising.

And last, but clearly not least, is not taking care of the site running the ads. Because ultimately it doesn't matter how cool the site is itself. If it doesn't have updated contents and a lot of daily visitors it will probably never earn you any serious AdSense revenues.

So these are the most important five things people get wrong while using the AdSense program. But of course if you don't like this means of expressing the issues, here are the top five things you should do to ensure your AdSense ads are constantly bringing in that revenue.

Never break Google's policy. Don't make visitors create "artificial clicks" on your website regardless of the person doing so or the reason. Make sure your ads have the right colors that blend in with your site, and make sure they're positioned in the right places to attract as many customers as possible. Always try to avoid using banner-like (480x60) adds unless you really know what you're doing and constantly keep your site fresh and up to date.

So with that in mind you should be raising your AdSense revenues in no time.

All You Need To Know About Adsense To Blast Your Income Sky-high!

From my personal experience and from speaking with many other publishers, it seems that many of them cannot even garner enough earnings to trigger off a payment from Google (USD $100). This is really sad because many give up before even reaching the halfway mark. Imagine adding up all the quitters, the amount of advertising money Google would have pocketed without paying a cent!

Point #1 Find Your Niche. You need to know about your topic or subject fully and be an at least knowledgeable on it. You write quality content, you get quality ads shown. It is as simple as that. If you really found profitable niche on but know nuts about it, you can always use free articles (like this one) and post them on your site with their links on them of course. It is a easy and quick way to get quality content to your site.

Point #2 Laser Focused Theme. You need to fully concentrate on your topic and area of interest. Do not deviate from it even a single bit! The reason behind this is to get the MOST relevant ads to your content which in turn will be the most likely to interest the visitor and get clicked on.

Point #3 Website Navigation. Do not trick the visitor, do not confuse the visitor, do not attempt to hide the ad but do not ‘blast’ the ad at the same time. Create your navigation in such a way that your ads appear unobtrusive and yet viewable. It is advisable to put more then one ad but do not cramp your page with ads, it turns the visitor off.

Point #4 Key Word Density Although Google doesn't release exact details as to how they determine the ads to serve on a given page. We do know that content (and words) of the page that matters. Before serving ads on a page, then, you might want to check its keyword density to see what words pops up most frequently.

Point #5 Maintain Content Readability Advertisements should not distract from your content, or else your visitors will be driven away. Make Adsense a cohesive part of your site design, not something slapped in at the last minute or some hastily put up page.

Point #6 Ask Them! Google knows best about their own programs. If you have any doubt or any question at all, feel free to mail them. “Please feel free to email us at adsense-tech@google.com if you have additional technical questions or concerns. For general program or account questions, please email adsense-support@google.com.”

Point #7 Do Nots. Do no click on your own ads neither should you ask others to click on your Google ads. Do not manually change or modify you ad code. Do not place Google ads on sites that include prohibited/questionable content (e.g.: adult sites, hate sites) Do not employ cloaking, hidden text or farm links. Do not create a site just because you think you found high paying keywords and throw content in just based on them just for the purpose of profiting from them.

Discover The Fast and Easy Way To Increase Your Adsense Revenue Automatically!

Thousands of webmasters are making a decent and steady adsense revenue without selling anything from their websites. They just place a code on their webpages and they do nothing else than getting traffic to their sites.

You will find a small majority of them living exclusively from their adsense revenue. It is possible to earn a nice and steady income with adsense, but a lot of people are struggling to make their first $100.

Worst, many of them can't make one dollar a day! And it is not because they didn't try. They tried, they visited Internet marketing and adsense forums in order to find adsense tips and strategies, they carefully read Google adsense blog everyday, but still, they didn't make that dollar.

After two or three months of deception and failure, they decide that adsense is not worth it, and some of them will even remove the ads from their site.

Why a small percentage of those webmasters earn a nice revenue from their ads? There is something that nobody tell you in the beginning, but after some researches, I found that you will not be able to make a real and significant adsense revenue with one website or one blog.

The more blogs and websites you own, the more money you make. It's easy to understand, because if you own 10 websites and each of them get one hundred visitors a day, it represent one thousand visitors.

Now, imagine that you have one hundreds websites, and one hundreds visitors to each website everyday. You start to see the picture? A lot of people don't know this little secret, and that is why they don't succeed with adsense, and finally give up.

Now you have ten thousand visitors to your websites every single day! This is a lot of potential clicks on your ads. You must not forget that your goal is to get the most clicks possible on your ads, and for that you need a lot of traffic, and a lot of websites.

It seems impossible that you can build several websites in a month, and regularly update them with useful and fresh content rich articles. Nobody want to spend all the day in front of his computer, and that's why your best decision will be to outsource the work. It can really add up in the long term, and cost you a lot of money.

You need to update those blogs and websites too, because search engines love fresh content; and the more content you add, the more pages will be indexed, and that means more traffic, and more adsense revenue in your bank account.

It can be overwhelming to update all those sites, and write articles for each of them, because there is only twenty four hours in a day. You have to use private label right articles for that technique to be effective.

Happily, there is numerous adsense membership websites that will make all the work for you, and enable you to increase your adsense revenue without trading your valuable time against money.

You will get several new adsense templates every month, new private label right articles, and a training from super adsense earner, to help you on your way to adsense rich.

The secret of making money with adsense is to leverage other people work. You don't need to work harder, but smarter.

Adsense Good or Bad?

I have often pondered this question?

Here are my own basic thoughts on the complex subject.

Most websites I visit have some kind of adsense system running; I would estimate that some of these are making good money from the Google system. Certainly sites with over 1000 visitors per day should receive a small amount of revenue.

Generally I believe the adsense system is a good one, however like most things these days the adsense system has been misused by individuals who fully understand how search engines work; unfortunately these people have already made their money. These people have used many tactics in the past to raise their sites page ranking, thus ensuring more visitors, more visitors means more revenue from the system. These sites are generally kept open for a few months and then closed down, with the next one instantly opened up. This practice has been going on for years. The sites are even sold daily on EBay; I would imagine they are just about to be banned.

What normally happens when a few people misuse a system is it leads to others suffering, and in this case it has happened. Google is sandboxing new sites for longer. Saying this company had to act, they have now introduced the ‘Big Daddy’ update. This update has affected sites that have large numbers of irrelevant links or millions of irrelevant web pages. Unfortunately it has also affected the ranking of genuine businesses; hopefully this is just a temporary blip. My own opinion is the internet should be a level playing field for everyone; however I somehow doubt it ever will be.

I believe there is a place for adsense on most sites as long as it is discrete, well set up and does not look out of place, (fonts, colours etc), The main thing to think about is what do you want from your visitors. Most sites offer a product to potential customers. This causes the dilemma of balancing potential revenue from adsense against losing a potential customer, what I mean by this is, a visitor may be interested in your site, however you could lose them instantly to Google. This is why in my opinion is if your site has a product you are selling, you should never employ adsense on your homepage.

In conclusion I like the system, it is easy to set up and user friendly. I hope Google manage to filter out the unethical element who in the end will only spoil things for everyone.

The Newest Ways To Make Money Online With Google Adsense

The saturation of sites deliberately built for adsense revenue worldwide is increasing at a rapid rate due to the unbelievable power adsense has to earn the average person a worthwhile second and sometimes primary income. A new addition to the adsense earning idea that is still in its infancy is creating sites that indicate how much different adsense ad clicks are worth, and then display them on the site in large lists, along with the adsense ads next to them. The amount of different keywords on the site ensures the site will be seen by searchers and drive sufficient traffic, and the adverts are clicked in the hope of more information. Thus, the publisher of the site does nothing more than create keyword lists, using appropriate software, see what their value is worth and then post them onto a website or blog.

To do this has been previously difficult, or several sources of keywords and their bids have had to be joined together to create the keyword lists. With the release of keyword Elite, sites has been slowly appearing with these lists on them, and the publisher is making a fair amount of money due to the high click value of the keywords.

The process follows three basic steps:

1. Build a site (With ms FrontPage or a similar basic free site builder) or create a free blog with one of the many blog sites or wordpress.

2. Place some title and header tags on the site, and then create keyword lists with a Keyword creater – I use overtures suggestion tool – (check it in Google), which can then be copied and pasted onto the respective site.

3. Add adsense ads by signing up here and placing the ads on the site. 4.If you like , optimize the site by using a program for search engine optimization like the free version of Web CEO.

Google Adsense is now making some online entrepreneurs over $1 mil a year , and is fast becoming one of the easiest ways anywahere to make a buck. Saturation of Adsense sites , however , is becoming a problem , and Google is starting to penalise sites which have so called "junk content" and other deceptive means which publishers use to gain clicks.

Daisy chains of adsense sites are created by publishers looking to get traffic cheaply from PPC and then have users click on ads on the landing page which brings them a higher price.

Such sites are now being filtered out by Googles new adwords regiem. Under this regiem landing pages with little or no content and lots of adsense are being charged more and more as a minimum CPC , thereby weeding out these traffic "feeders". However , with the coming of MSN and Yahoo into the contextual advetising arena , this traffic swapping method may revive to a be a bigger money earner than ever before.

Making Money with Google Adwords

With just over 70% of the search market Google dominates the world of internet search theses days. It is little wonder that a majority of internet marketers and entrepreneurs keep their eyes on whatever Google is doing today and speculate on where they may go in the future.

With the advent of Google’s two flagship money making endeavors, Adwords and Adsense, Google was not only able to become a multi-billion dollar company they also enabled the world of internet marketing to become a viable route for anyone who has the drive and willingness to make a good amount of money, many times replacing their normal income 3 or 4 times over.

What is Google Adwords?

Google Adwords is a pay-per-click advertising system that Google uses as its main source of income generation. In the pay-per-click system an ad is placed and appears for certain searched for keywords. The advertiser is charged every time his ad is actually clicked by a searcher. If the advertiser has done his work right this click will turn into a sale which should more than offset the cost of the click.

The nice thing about the Google Adwords advertising system is that an advertiser’s ads can run continuously and cost very little money. It also makes it easy to place ads that are very specific to whatever the product is and thereby further limit the cost.

How does Google Adwords Work?

Google Adwords is an auction type system. Advertisers bid on keywords that they believe will bring buyers to their web pages. The higher the bid the higher up the Adwords listing that advertiser’s ad will be placed. There are a couple of other criteria besides bid amount that affect ad placement as well.

One is the click through rate of the advertiser’s ad. Also known as CTR this is the percentage of clicks an add get in relation to how many times it is shown for that keyword search. The higher the CTR the higher an ad can rise in the listings. A high CTR can also help lower bid price.

The other important criteria are the quality or relevance of the web page the ad is pointing to. This “Quality Score” is assigned by Google through their search algorithm. It is believed by many experienced internet marketers that the quality score is based on how ell the content of your web pages matches with that of the keywords they are bidding on and the ad copy itself.

Where do the Adwords Ads Appear?

If you d a search on Google you will notice that on the right hand side of the page there are eight “sponsored listings”. These are the Adwords ads. If you find one that interests you and you click on it, it will take you to some sort of web page, usually to a product that you can buy that is specific to the search you did. When you click on that ad Google charges the advertiser for that click. This can be anywhere from 5 cents to more than 50 dollars.

This is where “Return On Investment” (ROI) comes into play. The idea with Adwords is to make more from the sale of goods than what it costs to advertise. A good marketer can easily obtain an ROI of 200-300%, or for every dollar they spend they get 2 to 3 dollars in return.

Affiliate Programs and Google Adwords.

An affiliate program allows just about anyone the opportunity to make money using Google Adwords. Quite simply an affiliate is a sales person for someone else’s products. With Google Adwords an affiliate can place ads that link to a merchant’s website. If this merchant is part of an affiliate network or has an affiliate program the affiliate get a percentage of anything they sale via their Adwords ad.

There are quite a few affiliate networks on the internet today that list tens-of-thousands of merchants and their products. It is easy to sign up with most affiliate networks and begin promoting the merchants who they represent. One could, if they were very motivated sign up with several merchants and have ads up and running in one day. This is not the recommended way to start as an affiliate but it does show how easy ads can be placed once you get the hang of it.

At the end of the day, Google Adwords is a viable tool that can be used increase traffic to one’s e-business. By minimizing irrelevant clicks and targeting those who are truly looking to purchase a product or service, an internet marketer can assure the profits they collect would be much greater than the costs they have to pay for each click on their Google Ad.

Avoid Google Adsense Termination

Google can terminate your Adsense account because of Click Fraud. This article will give tips on how to keep this from happening.

Some webmasters have unexpectedly received a short notice from Google saying that there Adsense accounts have been terminated. Why has this happened? A lot of people don't know this but Google has a secret team spying on them. There account has been terminated because of something called Google Adsense Click Fraud.

Click fraud is the practice of internet marketers boosting Adsense revenue by intentionally clicking on ads on there own sites. This costs both the advertiser and Google money and is becoming a big problem for Google. While some people are guilty of click fraud, you may find your Adsense account terminated through no fault of your own. Here are some tips for how to prevent getting mixed up in this fraud.

1. Monitoring software. There is software available that can track clicks on your website. Much of this software can be found free of charge. Not only can this help protect you but it can also aid Google in putting an end to this fraud.

2. Review your server logs. You should inspect your logs for any activity that seems suspicious. Report any detail that you find abnormal.

3. Notify Google of any suspicious activity. The best way to avoid being under suspicion is to always notify Google of any information that you find. This helps them in there fight plus lets them know that you are interested in fighting this fraud as well.

4. Don't put Google on pop ups and pop unders. While many webmasters find these tools to be of great value, they should never be used in conjunction with Adsense. Doing so can break Googles Terms Of Service.

5. Watch your content. Your ads should not be displayed on sites that promote illegal activity. Even some sites that are legal should be avoided such as gambling sites and adult sites. If you have Adsense on a site such as this, remove it immediately because this could also violate Googles Terms Of Service. If you are unsure, then you should check the Terms Of Service aggreement.

6. Ask Google to monitor your site for suspicious activity. Google can collect the access logs that your web host offers. If you suspect that something is wrong, then it would be a great idea to have Google check things out.

7. Disable ads for your own IP address and local geographic area. If you suspect that you may be involved in a click fraud scandal, you can use an HT access file to disable your ads. If Google already suspects you are clicking on your own ads, this will prove to them that it is not you.

8. Warn your friends and family. If you have people you personally know going to your website, make sure that they are not intentionally clicking on Adsense ads. They may think they are doing you a favor by making you a few extra bucks. But this can eventually cause more problems then it is worth.

9. Be honest if you've made a mistake. If you have clicked on ads on you own website by accident or intentionally, be honest with Google about it. It will probably go down better if you admit to your wrongdoings before Google findsout about it on there own. Of course this depends on the circumstances. If you've been clicking on your own ads for months and have made thousands of dollars because of this, Google is unlikely to be too forgiving.

In summary, don't get involved in this scheme. Chances are that you will get caught and your account will be terminated. I read an article about a man that made this mistake. He started clicking on his own ads as a personal test and accumulated a small amount of money. The problem is that he got caught and his account was terminated. Not only did he lose the money that he had earned in clicking on his own ads but he also lost the rest of the money that came from legitimate clicks.
