Keywords Are Oxygen - Be Smart About Your Adsense Research Tool

Keywords are oxygen. Your business cannot live on the internet without the right mixture. If you are building a site within your area of expertise you will likely hit the mark with your keyword mix without really trying. It is when you build niche websites outside your personal knowledge base that your hopeful internet empire becomes vulnerable to more knowledgeable, better equipped competition.

Keyword research tools can be evaluated in the three categories where your choice of specific keywords will have the most impact on your online business. These categories are: Adsense, Adwords, and Organic Search. In this article we cover the most desirable Adsense characteristics of your keyword research tool.

CPC vs. ACPC

Have you ever built an Adsense website based on some list of supposedly High Paying Keywords only to be disappointed by dismal earnings? There are two reasons that can happen. One is that the alluring high Cost Per Click (CPC) number you see is a mirage. An advertiser may have bid that high in the Google system but never pays it because an advertiser only has to pay a tiny amount more than the next bidder to guarantee itself the top position - and that amount is almost always significantly lower than that stratospheric CPC you based your website on.

Number of Advertisers

Another reason for your dismal Adsense earnings, even when the keyword has a legitimately high CPC, is that there are very few advertisers in the Google system paying for that keyword phrase, maybe as low as 5 or 10. Google will fill all 4 or 5 slots in your page's Adsense ad, but chances are that only a few of the very highest traffic sties with proven above-normal Click Through Rates (CTR) will get served those premiere advertisers. Your site is getting the tail end of the advertisers paying much less for more-or-less related keyword phrases that you probably never considered when planning your website.

A top-of-the-line Adsense keyword research tool will solve these problems by providing exactly the information you need to successfully build an Adsense site: (1) the Average Cost Per Click (ACPC) that all the advertisers in the Google system are actually paying for specific keyword phrases, not just the top bidding few, and (2) the number of advertisers actively bidding in the Google system for a particular keyword phrase.

Competition

The third element that a top-of-the-line keyword research tool will provide is the number of publishers competing for any particular keyword phrase. Well, you say, they all do that by reporting the number of results pages in Google. That is wrong and misleading. You may have avoided optimizing for some legitimately lucrative keywords because of this bad intel. Here is an example. Search the broad-match keyword phrase "best mortgages" on Google. You will get more than 65,000,000 million results pages returned. Try the exact match [best mortgages] and you still get more than 8,000,0000 results.

Try this eye-popping tip. Search Google with this search term (without the quotation marks) "inanchor:best mortgages allintitle:best mortgages" Now you can see the real number of competitors you would have if you decided to optimize for "best mortgages." Not 65,000,000 or 8,000,000 but exactly 637. The reasoning is that millions of web pages will contain the word best and the word mortgage somewhere on the page, but only a few will use "best mortgages" in the title and in the anchor text linking into that page. Those few are your real competitors, and not all of them will be running Adsense ads. You would never learn this critical information if you are doing keyword research that shows only results returned.

GooglePage and AdSense Solutions

GooglePage (tm) is free and easy to use. GooglePage offers 41 page skins (templates) and a simple editor to create pages. Simply add text, upload pictures, video, music and files, click “publish” and your page exists on the world wide web. Google offers 100 Mb of space and is coupled to your GMail account. As with all Google services, there are adequate official and non-official help pages and forums for GooglePages.com (or GPC) which is still in testing phase (Beta).

Page Design Techniques

You can combine the Page skins with four different layouts as each page requires.

Example: You might decide that your home page layout should have a left column for navigation, a center column for a short explanation and a right column for pictures all on a grey skin background. Your next page might have much more text and you can decide for the left column navigation but to combine the center and right column into one all on a white background. By shifting between the Change Looks and Layout options you can make each page different from the other. You also have the option of using headers and footers when and where you want.

More Flexibility

If you require more flexibility you can add your own html commands if you are familiar with web design. Simply click the “Edit html” link on the bottom of the GooglePage editor and add whatever you need. If you require any sort of scripting such as Google AdSense tm, you can upload html files and link to them.

Example. You create a page and decide you want to add Google AdSense in the left column. Simply publish the page and view it online in your browser. You can either view the page source or save the file as an html document on your hard-disk. Using a text editor you can then add the AdSense script in the left column and close the file. Go back to your GooglePage editor and upload the xx.htm file from your hard disk. Link to it from existing GooglePage documents and you have a custom page. A small disadvantage at the moment is that you cannot use the GooglePage editor to make changes to the page since the editor will automatically strip out the script. This will change.

Some users of GooglePages have commented that the editor lacks some fundamentals which exist in GoogleBlog. However, it must be remembered that the purpose of GooglePages is a simple way for people to create web pages for free. Plus, GooglePage is still in Beta and like all Google products, under constant review.

How to sign up

You need a Google Mail account (Gmail) to sign up for GooglePage. Currently whatever name you choose for your Gmail account becomes your GooglePage name automatically (Google hints that this will change). For example, if you sign up for a GMial account using John Doe, your free web page will be called johndoe.googlepage.com.

What can you create?

Already users have created clever and artistic personal, business, photo, religious, technical and entertaining web pages. There are also tips in the forums as to how to add AdSense, page counters, video, music and Googlemaps to GooglePage.com. Start today and add yours.

6 Skills to Maximize Google Adsense Income

Google AdSense is a one of main source revenue of website. Here I highlight 6 skills to increase your google adsense revenue, and to prevent adsense account has been suspended.

1# google adsense tracker software

I personally think that this is the most important, the installation of an adsense click tracking software, which used to track IP addresses from which users click to what advertisements for the future analysis of the data provided very good results. Meanwhile, the vicious hits IP can be pursued, and to promptly report to Google.
There are a lot of adsense tracker software.I suggest that you use the whole function of the software should be able to analyze at least the following information: IP users, click advertising sites, advertisements address, clicking on time, in order to provide the basis for the analysis.

2# google adsense location, number and color-matching

Adsense page can be placed several advertisements to increase advertising exposure. Do not put too much of course, the largest pieces should be placed advertisements as three blocks and one link advertising, the advertising should be placed on the top page, or we will get a higher hit rate. Advertising pages and the background color and text color to the overall color matched, this would increase user's browsing experience, but also can enhance hits.

3# Malicious or invalid click

Through adsense tracker, we can trace some vicious hits, such as clicking on the advertisement for a particular IP, this time, the data should be reported promptly to Google Adsense, to prevent account has been suspended.

4# Low price advertising ban

Sometimes we found a sudden increase in the number of hits, but the decrease in the revenue generated, which shows the advertising is a lower price. Then according to tracking the data and find the biggest hits on a Web site address and then select the Google Adsense "competitive advertising filter", the web site will be blacklisted, on the website does not reveal the low value advertising. Of course, this approach may sometimes be wrong.

5# Ban misleading advertising

Sometimes certain visited the page and text advertising will definitely misleading, then often lead users clicking on the advertising increase the probability that makes a very high hit rate, which is not a good thing, because the high rate of hits on Google often give the wrong impression that it is invalid clicking, and we had better control click rate was less than 1%. So find the greatest hits of advertisements, its website by adding "competitive advertising filter", so clicking on the standard rate will be gradually restored to normal.

6# To prevent accounts were suspended

This is a requirement that Google must comply with the rules, do not ask why, they should not be attempting to challenge these rules, not for cheating actually, you can never be compared with Google's technical standards, the only way to ensure account is not suspended.
Those rules : Do not click own adsense advertising, Google will not encourage others to click advertising, suggested or not to use pop-up software installation and will not contain any prohibited as Google advertising on the website, do not change AdSense code, and so on.
If it is found that there were anomalies in advertising hits, you should promptly notify Google officials.
If removed from the Google Adsense, do not know what to do, and submit their relevant statistical data to the Google and tell them you are innocent.

These are some of the skills of Google Adsense, I hope that the use of these skills will increase your Google Adsense revenue.
Good Luck.

Adsense Tricks To Explode Your Profits

There are many adsense tips floating around the internet. Here are some adsense tricks that can drastically increase your CTR and your profits.

Lots of people say to make your ads blend in. However, some people are having a lot of success by making their links stand out. The most effective style seems to be having your links blue, while your other links are a less-noticeable color. A good example can be seen at www.lockergnome.com

- Place images directly above your ads. This simple technique has been known to increase CTR by 400%. To keep the images fresh some people randomize related images on their site using PHP code. You can see an example of these images at http://www.how-to-make-money-online.info/

- Google has cited the 336x280 large rectangle as the most effective ad size.

- Place ads where your visitors will likely be focused.

Check out this heat map by Google - http://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/static.py?page=tips.html

- Weave your articles into your content. This is shown at lockergnome.com

- Place link units in the top left-hand corner. This part of the website has shown to be clicked on more than any other part of the page. You can see an example at lockergnome.com. (Look at the links at the top, towards the left in blue.)

- Take advantage of the "alternate URL" feature to avoid Public Service Ads that seep money away from your website.

- One of the best things you can do is add additional pages to your site. A web site with thousands of pages and tons of content often does very well in the search engines. You can get free content from article directories. You could also use public domain content, which is a favorite tactic of John Reese. Or, you could use content in the creative commons. This is getting easier than ever now that Yahoo and others have created a search engine specifically for content in the creative commons.

Succeeding with adsense is largely determined by the amount of traffic to your site. However, there are many adsense tricks that you can employ to get the most possible out of your site. Often times, this means doubling, tripling, or even quadrupling your earnings. The key is to find out what works for your web site. Testing and tracking is the key to increased revenue!

5 Amazing Free Google PPC Ad Boosters

Try this; in a Google search page, enter the word, 'Google.' How many results do you get?

Over 2.5 Billion.

Zap back to the mid-90's; two students named Larry Page & Sergey Brin are working on a new research project at Stanford University, California. Using the leading search engines of their day; Inktomi and AltaVista, they're entering the word 'Inktomi' into the Inktomi search engine and 'AltaVista' into the AltaVista search engine.

How many results do you think they got; a Thousand? A Million?

Zero.

Larry & Sergey couldn't believe it. Because Inktomi and AltaVista search engines were the leaders, but couldn't even find their very own websites in an online search. This added to the boys' conviction. Now they were sure they'd soon be blasting the competition with their own new creation; Google.

Google didn't get to be king of search and PPC (Pay-Per-Click) by thinking like everyone else. They worked 'outside the box' to develop an alternate plan of attack. The results; obscene profits and domination of the search engine world.

In short, Google used imagination to get where they are today.

To beat competitors in your business category you must use imagination too. Here are 5 top techniques that'll boost your performance. While your ad is climbing the Results ladder, you'll be getting far more attention from prospective customers.

Introducing these tips may take a little time and effort (perhaps that's why most advertisers aren't using them). But there are resources available to help you. What's more, these methods won't cost you a penny.

1. Tailor the Web Address Displayed in Your Ads

Let's say Mr Smith is searching online for apples. Meanwhile, you own 'Fruit' dot-com. If you happen to have the word, 'apples' in your ad's web address, when it comes to providing Mr Smith with his search results Google is going to love you.

Problem is, you don't have the word, 'apples' in your existing web address. Well, there's an easy way to fix this. It's called a subdomain. Subdomains are a great way to ensure the keyword entered by your prospective customer, is actually displayed at the bottom your Google ad text.

So let's create a subdomain using your web host's control panel, so that 'Apples' will be a subdomain of your existing site. This allows you to display 'Apples.Fruit' dot com as the ad's web address. Your ad will contain address text matching exactly what Mr Smith is seeking. What's more, 'apples' will be highlighted in bold text.

Result? A big, free boost for your ad.

Most website hosts such as Network Solutions, Go Daddy and others will allow you to have 70 or more subdomains. So, you can have many tailored ads with different keywords in your address; 'Pears.Fruit' dot-com, 'Bananas.Fruit' dot-com - you get the idea.

By the way; don't try to fool Google by entering a subdomain that doesn't exist. Within a matter of hours they'll catch you. And switch your ad off until you've fixed it.

2. Interesting Text Beats Boring Competitors' Cash

As legendary ad man Claude Hopkins said many years ago; "Any studied attempt to sell, if apparent, creates corresponding resistance."

Which is more interesting; 'Online Tax Services; we're the best,' or 'What the IRS doesn't Want You to Know?' The goal is to think creatively. Produce text so tempting, internet users yearn to learn more.

So don't get in customers' faces - be subtle. Ease your way into their minds. Because ads that give people a real reason to click, work. You're limited only by your imagination.

3. Always Place the Keyword in Your Headline

If you're bidding on the keyword, 'Hammers,' make sure the word 'Hammers' is in your headline. Google will then show that word as bold text; a huge benefit. You'll need to create a number of tailored ads in order to make this work. Perhaps you'll have one ad for every 2 or 3 keywords. No problem - Google makes this quite easy.

4. Put the Price in Your Text

People on the internet are busy. They want info - now. If you display a price of your product or service in your ad, you're likely providing them with more info than your competitors are. Get ready for more clicks. And more clicks means your position soars.

5. Be Frugal with Google

Why pay for clicks that do you no good? Calendar studies show there's likely at least one day a week you'd have to be insane to run your ad. For example, if you're selling office supplies, it could be the weekend your ads should be off. If you're selling theme park tickets, it could be Mondays that make no sense for you.

By studying your ad's daily click patterns you can discover the days or hours to put your ad to sleep. This saves you money. Money which can be spent later, and boost your ad during the proper times.

After all, the goal is to save you money. Or, do you prefer to contribute unnecessarily to Larry & Sergey's Google retirement fund?

Get Real-time Adsense Channel Stats And Find Out Which Ads Are Being Clicked

If you have multiple sites or multiple directories in your site for different subjects and you have placed Adsense codes in your site, I am sure you would like to know: (a) from which site or directory you are earning the most / least, (b) which Adsense ads are being clicked and (c) from which page? CREATE CHANNELS FOR EACH SITE To get separate stats for each site / section / directory / page with Adsense, you need to create channels for each one. Create a channel with a relevant name and generate a code for that channel. Paste that particular Adsense code to the concerned pages / sites. GET CHANNEL STATS IN REAL TIME Google now provides Channel Data in real time. Earlier, it used to provide data for '2 days before'. Follow the procedure mentioned below : From 'Date Range' drop down menu, select 'today'. Check the radio button : Group data by 'Channel'. On the right hand panel, check the radio button 'Channel data'. Click on 'Select ALL' at the bottom of channel list. Click on 'Display Report'. Now you get the seggregated report for clicks generated for each channel. WHICH ADS ARE BEING CLICKED AND FROM WHICH PAGE? It is very important to know that which pages / sites are generating good Adsense revenue and which are not. We can work upon those poorly performing pages. If we can get to know about which ads are being clicked, that would make us feel more informed for many obvious reasons. Currently Google does not provide this data. But you can still get it from a very nice and detailed free web stat service, Add Free Stats. Add Free Stats provides a very detailed web stats which satisfies most webmasters. You may open a free account at : http://www5.addfreestats.com, get the code and paste it at the bottom of each of your pages. Make sure that in 'Your Account' section you mark 'Yes' for 'Exit link tracking'. Now check your stats at Add Free Stats, and you will find a "A" icon beside the visitors' ip. That means that visitor has clicked on an Adsense code. Place your mouse over the icon, and you can see which ad has been clicked. You can also generate a separate report of pages that have generated Adsense click. Select 'Exit Links/Adsense' from the drop down menu marked as 'Pages'. Here you get a folder icon named Adsense, the number of Adsense clicks etc. Click on the Adsense folder icon and you get the number of Adsense clicks on each page and which ads are clicked on that page. Click on the 'hour glass' icon and you get the CTR, PV too for each page. I am no way connected to Add Free Stats. I am just a happy user. Any webmaster working seriously towards Adsense earning, must have this tool.

Get an Adsense Website And Make Money Now!

You need an Adsense website now! Google's Adsense program is the most well-known Internet Marketing program today. There are many ebooks and internet marketers out there with an Adsense website , but there are also lots of scams; people who claim to know how to make money using Google Adsense, but who never provide any proof. Some Internet Marketers do make lots of money using with their adsense websites. The Majority of these are Entrepreneurs who run their own businesses from home.

Below are the main points to know about Google Adsense.

What Google Adsense is:

* An advertising program that can make money for you thorough advertising on your adsense website.
* Text ads are placed on your adsense website using a code supplied to you by Google.
* You receive payment by Google every time someone clicks on one of the ads on your site.

Google also has a feature allowing you to put a Google search box on your adsense website. When someone uses this box to search the web, ads are also displayed on the search results pages. Google will pay you for clicks on these ads as well.

How To Get Started With Google Adsense

Google has to accept you into the Google Adsense program. You apply by completing an application at this website: https://www.google.com/adsense. If Google approves your application, the Google Adsense Program will send you an HTML code. You will need to copy and paste this code into your adsense website pages - it is this code that places the ads onto your website. It costs you nothing to join.

Can I participate in Google's Adsense Program?

Google's Adsense Program is open to anyone with a web presence, with the following exceptions:

* Hate Sites
* Adult Sites (porn)

You must also read and agree to follow Google Adsense terms of service. If you violate any of the rules, you can be kicked out of the program. Because the Adsense program is so large and far-reaching, you don't want this to happen, particularly if you have more than one website with Adsense ads displayed on them. Google's Adsense program is available worldwide, in all languages. This makes it possible for Internet Entrepreneurs from all over the globe to participate.

Should I participate in the Adsense Program?

You should participate if for no other reason than it is free. However, there are other, better reasons to consider joining the program and developing an adsense website:

* You can make money online at home
* The program is virtually maintenance-free, once you install the HTML code onto your adsense website pages.
* You get paid when your Adsense account reaches $100
* You can monitor your Google Adsense account on the Internet at any time

The one caveat to remember is that the possibility exists that Adsense ads could take business away from you site. This is why you have to place the Adsense code strategically on your site.

Adsense Ad Placement

There are several locations on your adsense website that have been proven, over time, to lead to more clicks (and we know that more clicks=$$$!). Below is tried and true advice on where to place Adsense Ads on your site:

* Place them near the upper left of the page. This location is where your visitors look first.
* Place Adsense ads near useful content, since your visitors will probably be reading there
* Integrate Adsense ads into the middle of content on your adsense website.

Also, you should make sure that the Adsense ads don't stand out in any way, shape or form. The ads should blend in to your adsense website as much as possible.

There are other techniques for implementing the Google Adsense program on your website to ensure maximum income. These are advanced techniques and should be considered once you have a grasp on the basics and have started making money using the program. In a nutshell, Google's Adsense Program can earn you a substantial income when used properly.

The Effect of File Extension to Google Adsense

First of all I am the one who have own websites and would like to make money from my websites. From a number of methods to make money, Google Adsense is the best choice for me because it's easy to do just go to http://www.google.com/adsense and apply for an account and then following the step to get the code to add to my websites.

However in this step made me confuse because when I have already paste it in the code and then open websites to see the result that should display ads which concern about my websites. In the other hand it showed message "Make a donation....." in stead of ads so I try to find out why it's not display ads and finally I found the reason, the language of some websites which the ads not display are unsupported by Google Adsense.

Then I thought it was a big problem because I do not want to change the language of my websites but Google Adsense is not support this language. How should I do?

It was the first question that I ask myself but I do not want to give up so I try to find out again in forums, articles and websites to find someone who has the same problem as me.

Then I found the solution to solve this problem is iframe but it's not quite correct method to use because nobody can confirm that this method is illegal or not.

Although it might be risk but it’s not waste to try so I place the Adsense code to other file and I save it as php file and in the code of content page instead of old code I replace with iframe tag which link to that php file.

Therefore I open website to see the result again but it still displayed the Public Services Ads. I have to confront with problem again so I try to change file extension of Adsense file from php to html and use iframe to display it again.

When I open the website, it was surprised me the ads is display on the screen. I don’t know the reason why it showed but file extension of iframe is certainly effect to display Adsense ads?

I still have to find the answer but not seriously because the ads is displayed moreover. Now I have to worry about Adsense is banned from Google Adsense because I use iframe and unsupported language of contents.

Content is NOT King

Content is King. How many times have you heard that? Do you believe it? I used to. But then I stopped to think how ridiculous that statement really is. Content is not King. Something far more valuable is King.

Well, not really King. What you want is more democratic in nature. You want visitors. After all, if you have ten million fantastic articles of top-notch unbeatable quality but have no visitors, what do you have really?

Don't get me wrong, as an AdSense publisher you want to be constantly creating quality content and adding it to your site. But you're creating the content for the sake of the visitors, not the other way around.

Once you've created a quality article and posted it to your site, it's time to market that article. Submit it to the major article directories (articlecity.com, ezinearticles.com and goarticles.com). Get links directly to the article from other sites. Find blogs on the topic and ask them to review your article on their blog. Make sure that article gets seen! Doing this will also help rank your article in the search engines.

It's a lot more beneficial to go out and market an article (and earn more money because of it) than it is to continually write new content that nobody is seeing because you never market it. Plus it's a great motivator when you see your best articles getting a lot of traffic and earning you money.

One great article can bring in hundreds or thousands of visitors, many of whom will browse your site looking for other great content. Be sure you take advantage of that by getting those visitors on an email list. Offer them some free gifts if they are willing to opt-in and be notified when you post new content. You want to keep those visitors coming back and earning you more money.

AdSense is considered by many a throw-away-traffic business: webmasters try to get a visitor to their page once in the hopes that they will click an ad, but they completely ignore the fact that if you give the visitor incentives to come back again you can earn money from two, three, five, twenty clicks or more from the same visitor over time!

No, content is not King. Your visitors are the only royalty. So make sure you get a lot of them, treat them right and give them plenty of reasons to stick around. Jonathan Leger is a well known AdSense, Marketing and SEO professional who posts regularly to his Google AdSense blog.

Protect Your Adsense Income !

Many web site owners are getting their Google Adsense account terminated when they have done nothing wrong to deserve the punishment. Considering the money that they are getting from Adsense, they would certainly want to get back into it.

Considering the money to be made with Adsense, it is no wonder that they would want to get back into it.

It is that same consideration why the Google Adsense click fraud is thought of and why many people are getting into it.

Click fraud is the act of clicking on ads for the purpose of costing the advertiser money. It is simply the same as paying out cash for false leads. Many people website owners are aware of this fraud and are sharing the same sentiment that this is the one big problem that Adsense is facing.

How do you prevent being involved in this fraud?

Majority of web hosts are offering access logs. Once this is offered to you, it is necessary that you hand it over to Google as well. This allows them to look for any suspicious activity on your site. Problems like this are very serious and giving it to them is saying that you would want to help them in any way you can in solving the problem.

It can also help if you have a click monitoring software. If you do not have one yet, you should try and get one. There is absolutely no major factor preventing you from having one because most of this software is free.

As usual, all the information you have received should be turned over to Google. This is showing Google that you too are fighting against click frauds and is in no way a part of it.

Study your server logs and watch for any activity that seems suspicious. Report anything that you may find odd, may it big or small thing.

You may want to consider disabling ads for your own IP address and local geographic area. This will certainly prevent accidents and will not make Google mistake another user as you. You can do through a htaccess file. This will avoid Google mistaking as clicking on your own ads and be kicked out because of it.

Keep your Adsense off on pop ups and pop unders. Your ads should not be displayed on content sites that promote illegal activity or tampering of the legal rights of other people or business. Included in this are the content that is considered adult and gambling ones. If you think that you may be breaking this rule, immediately remove your content or Adsense from the web page.

Be truthful and confess up to Google about times when you might have clicked on your own as, whether accidentally or intentionally. Or the times when you have done something that is against the Terms of Service that they are implementing. Be honest about anything that you may have done that is wrong. Confessing is way better than Google learning about it eventually. It would mean eventual termination and no getting back what you have worked so hard for.

Do not tell your family or friends about Adsense on your website. Chances are they may start clicking on them to help you make money without you knowing it. They may be doing more harm to you than help by trying it in the first place.

If ever someone you know chanced upon your Adsense, make sure they understand that they cannot click on your ads under any circumstances. It would be wise to brief them on important things about Adsense and what not to do with them.

Most pay per click networks have different measures in hand to protect website owners against click frauds. Other search engines can track more than 50 data points, IP address, browser’s information, user’s session info and pattern recognition. They also have “systems” available that detects fraud. Not to mention the specialized teams monitoring how things are going and helping advertisers stop click frauds.

Google offers suggestion on how to avoid click fraud. Using “negative keywords” can be used to keep your Adsense showing on products and services that are in no way related to yours. Adding tracking URLs to your links so you can track the traffic coming from Google.

Do not be caught in the Google click fraud. Be aware and be wary.

Ten Step System To Make Top Adsense Money

1. Keywords and Competition

To make money with Adsense it all starts here by choosing high paying Adsense keywords to make more money. Look for keywords that are searched for frequently, but have little competition and build web pages around these keywords. Your pages will still display the high paying Adsense ads to make you more money.

2. Good Domain Name

Register keyword rich appealing names. If your site was offering advice on insurance then “your-insurance-advice-site.com” is more appealing to the searcher than “ABCInsurance.com” and will lead to more traffic to make you more money with Adsense.

3. Interesting and Unique Content

Creating unique and interesting content for your visitors so they return will make you even more money with Adsense. Your own content is best, or you can go to the article sites and use their content (as long as you abide by their rules), but add an introduction and a summary to make it unique.

4. Professional Looking Website

Many quality templates are available for you to produce Adsense websites. Use images sparingly to avoid distracting visitors from your content and clicking on your Adsense ads. Professional looking sites make money; don’t build a website that looks like your dog created it.

5. Optimize Pages

Well optimized pages rank well and will make good Adsense money:

• Title: Your keyword and a few extra words
• Meta Description: Use your keyword and make it appealing
• Meta Keyword Tag: Only use your keyword and one or two related keywords.
• Keyword Density: Aim for 3% – 5% keyword density
• Internal Linking: Use keywords in links

6. Adsense Placement

It’s well known that Adsense ads displayed at the top and middle of the page make more money than those down the side or at the bottom. Make your Adsense ads blend in with your page.

7. Blog

Create blogs and add links to your site and to some of your posts. Blogs that have regularly posts rank higher and get listed faster than websites (any links get spidered too). Write at least two posts a week and use Adsense on your blogs to make more money.

8. Google Site Map

Getting indexed fast will make you more Adsense money. Create a Google site map and send it to them and your site will get indexed fast.

9. Articles

Few use this method of generating free traffic to make money from Adsense. Articles also give you quality one way links. For a new site write two to three articles a week.

10. External Links

Nothing will improve your search engine rankings more than having quality one way links to your site. Good links will also give you more traffic to make even more money from your Adsense ads.

This proven ten step Adsense system works. Applying the system manually is hard work and takes a lot of time. A new tool that automates most of the system has emerged, enabling production of a large number of sites in very little time – the key to make big money with Adsense.

Google Adsense - The Easiest Money To Make Online

Who Else Wants To Make Money With Adsense? Better not be left behind the many making millions already.

Fact number 1: Kids in high school are making thousands of dollars every month with Adsense.

Fact number 2: Housewives, retirees, mom and dads, who are just staying at home and have never made a dime on the internet have created full-time incomes by simply placing Adsense ads on their web site or blog.

These are just some of the "super Adsense earners". You may have already heard about their story for they are among the few who are on their way to making millions worth of cash just by promoting Adsense sites.

Anyone, any age and gender can become money generating Adsense publishers as long as they what it takes. How does one go about this Internet advertising?

For the last couple of months, Google Adsense has dominated forums, discussions and newsletters all over the Internet. Already, there are tales of fabulous riches to be made and millions made by those who are just working from home. It seems that Google Adsense have already dominated the internet marketing business and is now considered the easiest way to making money online.

The key to success with Adsense is the placing of ads on pages that are receiving high traffic for high demand keywords. The higher the cost-per-click to the advertiser, the more you will receive per click from your site. Obviously, it does not pay to target low cost-per-click keywords and place them on pages that do not receive hits.

With all the people getting online and clicking away everyday, it is no wonder why Google Adsense has become an instant hit.

For some who are just new to this market, it would be a blow to their pride knowing that their homepage is buried somewhere in the little ads promoting other people's services. But then, when they get the idea that they are actually earning more money that way, all doubts and skepticism is laid to rest.

There are two major, and clever, factors that some successful webmaster and publishers are learning to blend together in order to make money easier using Adsense.

1. Targeting high traffic pages on your website. If you check on your logs, you will discover that many of your visitors are taking advantage of the free affiliate marketing resources and ebooks that you are offering on your site. In simple words, your ads are working effectively and are generating more clicks. It also means more money for you.

2. Placing Adsense links on pages that are producing little, or better yet, no profit. By placing Adsense on a free resources page, you will reduce the amount of potential customers being lost to other sites. Tricky, but effective nonetheless.

When learned to work effectively, these two factors are actually a good source of producing a minimal amount of revenue from a high traffic page. Many people are using this strategy to pick up some extra and cash with Adsense. This is also especially rewarding to informational sites that focus their efforts on delivering powerful affiliate link free content to their visitors. Now they can gain a monetary return on their services.

With the many techniques that people are now learning on how to make the easiest money by their Adsense, it is not surprising that Google is trying everything to update and polish their Adsense in order to maintain their good image.

The possibility of adding is 2nd tier in Adsense is not impossible. With all the people spending more time in their Adsense now and still more getting into this line of marketing, there is no doubt about the many new improvements yet to be made. Imagine the smiles on the faces of the webmasters and publishers all around the world if ever they sign up for sub-affiliates and double or even triple the amount that they are already earning.
The one particularly handy money-making feature that is available with Adsense now is the ability to filter out up to 200 urls. These gives webmasters the option to block out low value offers from their pages as well as competitors to their websites. Talk about taking only those that are advantageous and discarding the ones that seem "useless".

With Google Adsense, the possibilities are limitless. Yet there is also the possibility of someone taking advantage of the easy money process that this internet marketing is doing. If you think more about it, these negative factors may force Google to break down and thrash Adsense in the process. If that happens, people would have to go back to the old ways of internet marketing that does not make money online as easy as Adsense.

For now, however, Google Adsense is here to stay. As long as there are people wanting to earn some easy cash online just using their talents, the future ahead is looking good. Besides with all the strict guidelines that Google is enforcing over Adsense, it will take awhile for the Adsense privileges to be spammed and even terminated.

Google Adsense: Your Content Better Not Suck

I wanted to take a few minutes and write to you about something that is vitally important in building websites with Google Adsense for fun and profit.

I’m sure that you’ve heard this before, but I’m going to beat a dead horse right now, because it’s really, REALLY important to understand, and newbies and even experienced people STILL don’t get it (or maybe want to get it).

Let me shout this from the rooftops, so all will hear it...

Without good content, your venture into Google Adsense, and getting any kind of profits from Adsense is going to be tough, tough tough.

In fact, I’d say that it was almost impossible to generate any long term profits without good, solid content of some kind on your website.

Content is something that you simply can’t ignore, and it's a crime above crime if you do. Search engines love content and depend on it to kick back quality content results to its end users, people like you and me, or that guy who's looking for what you've got to give him, whether it's actual products, a service or just a Google Adsense ad.

Without good content for search engines to use and direct people to you, your website will never be found by anyone. In short, without content, your isolation from your end user is pratically guaranteed.

In case you haven't gotten it about the importance of content, let me one more thing. The big search engines, in many cases, even check your page for content and relevancy when you buy pay-per-click traffic. And without relevant content, they won't accept your ad.

So guess what? You need to be relevant, and you need some content to be relevant with.

Then there the problem with Google Adsense dropping advertisements into your site that have nothing to do with your site. I'll talk about PSAs (Public Service Ads), and how to avoid these no-paying ads in another message soon.

Readers love content, and will go out of their way to find good things to read in the subjects they care about. And if you provide them good content, they'll come looking again for you.

Without good content that people will come back to again and again, you’ll be a one shot website, and people won’t come back.

I’ve seen different webmasters and builders use specialized programs for page building. These programs build what is commonly called “scraper sites”. These sites take info from other web pages, and assimilate keyword-rich pages that supposedly will rank high on search engines. Granted these pages are total nonsense, and while they generate huge traffic from their high rankings, they usually don’t stay around long.

This scraper strategy may work for a while, but eventually search engines like Google will find out, and penalize your site.

Many sites are using programs that generate content. But people know what those sites are about the minute your page opens up on their browser. And once again, the search engines may very well pick up on the fact that you’re using artificial means to generate pages on your site, and ban you. It’s not worth it.

So you ask: how do I find relevant info to use in my site?

1. Explore Other Sites

No, don’t steal articles word for word from other places. But ideas for stories? That’s a different story (literally).

As Solomon said the Bible, “there’s nothing new under the sun.” But there’s always a “new” slant on content, and you’re a good brainstorm away from finding it.

Use your head. Check out what others are doing on their sites, and then combine the things you like in their content and ideas to make your content sing.

Be objective when looking other people’s content. If something grabs you, ask yourself why? Ask yourself why that angle of idea appealed to you when you came across it? And when you visit each site, ask yourself as you leave, “why would I come back to this site?”

2. Remember: The News Of The World and Your Adsense Site Are Connected.

If you’re maintaining an Adsense-oriented site, you need to be a “mini-expert” on your niche. That means reading material from others, and seeing how they can affect your Google Adsense site. You may think I’m repeating what I said above. I’m not. I’m talking about being personally involved in your content.

In your niche, affected by the winds of change, fickle buyers and surfers, and the ever changing landscape of the world and the web are sub niches. By keeping even the slightest tabs on your niche, you can align it to happenings outside of your niche that will affect your niche itself.

Example: One of the heavy keywords that came up this week when I was putting together my Top 500 Google Adsense Keyword List (available every two weeks for free, by the way, from http://axalda.info/topkeywords.html) was “cheap student airline tickets”. Of course, people always want to travel cheap, but why students?

Because it’s Spring Break, and kids are looking to spend Mom's and Dad's money for two weeks. If I had a niche, that I could have tied that information into a page on my travel or vacation website, I’d probably do very well in Adsense.

3. Read Magazines

Read a book or two. In many cases, magazines don’t follow trends—they make them. If you can get your hands on a publication or two that covers aspects of your niche, plunk down a buck or two, and get inspired.

There are a lot more ideas about how top get good content. Use your head, and fix it on your niche. Remember, like I said, you’re only one good brainstorm away from Adsense gold.

Till Next Time, Keep Building!

Gary

Let's Make Some Money With Google Adwords

Google adwords concept is easy. You create ads that Google shows alongside a keyword search. You give Google keywords that you want to be associated with. For example, you sell Disney T-shirts, you might want your ad to show up when people do a search for Disney. We've all seen these ads that appear to the right of a google search, called sponsored links. These are paid advertisements.

When you create an adwords ad you chose keywords for which your ad will appear and specify the maximum amount you're willing to pay for each click. You only pay when someone clicks on your ad and visits your website. The more buyers you drive to your products the more profit you will make.

Now that you know adwords is an excellent way to bring in revenue, you need to determine how much you are willing to pay per click (PPC). You can figure this using the following simple formula: Divide your monthly visitors by your monthly sales, then convert that into a percentage by multiplying by 100. Say, in a month you get 2000 visitors and sell 500 products each with a gross profit of $50.00. Your conversion ratio would be 2.5%. This means that 2.5% of every 100 people buy your product. Calculate your gross profit for every 100 visitors, 50 X 2.5%=$125.00. In this example you could afford to pay up to $1.25 for a visitor. This is a high amount and you would never have to pay that much.

Your keyword selection is the most important element when using adwords. These are the words when searched for will trigger the appearance of your ad in the search results. Choose these words while thinking what you would search for if you wanted a certain product. Use different spelling variations and plurals of your keywords to get the best results.

When creating your ad use good key words that are attention grabbing, such as free, new, tips and sale. Also explain the advantages of your product. Always have your exact keywords in the title. Use phrases like click here or visit this site to get your buyer to go to your website.

Keep a close eye on your budget, or you will get into trouble. When you have chosen your keywords and maximum cost per click, Google will suggest an amount for your daily budget. Adwords automatically tracks clicks, impressions and click through rates when your ad is up and running.

Adwords can be a fantastic source for new customers at a very low price. Research adwords and you will have a never ending flow of traffic to your website.

Google Adsense and the Power of Duplication

So you get online, set up a Google Adsense website and watch the dollars roll in? Wrong! The top earners in the Google Adsense field are earning the big, big money by duplicating the process over and over.

A friend of mine saw the Google Adsense ads on my site a few days ago and was querying if that was how I made my money. He couldn't understand how these small ads could amount to a full-time online income and the fact is that they DO NOT, well not in isolation anyway.

Before we get into the nitty gritty, the truth is that at this point in time I am not making a great amount with Google Adsense but that is about to change because I am absolutely aware of and convinced in the power of DUPLICATION.

I am an affiliate marketer, I promote numerous affiliate programs throughout the Internet Marketing Niche. Some make me a few dollars per month and some a few hundred in residual income. I also sell affiliate products through Google Adwords and am duplicating this process across multiple markets. I'll not mention some of the niches here for obvious reasons:-). The point is that if I didn't duplicate what I know to work across many different programs and service I would still be pen pushing in my former offline 9-5 job.

Even this article is one of countless others. The power comes from consistently doing the things that work over and over and over again.

Getting back to Adsense, what I realise is that everyone I speak to about it ARE NOT setting up unique sites and then settling for this income. They are setting up 100s, sometimes even 1000s of sites. Then when certain markets prove more profitable than others, as they most certainly will, the smart people are building great networks of smaller sites around these niches AND linking them all together.

Can you see the power of duplication at work here?

The point of building many sites is that sooner or later you are going to hit the mark. It doesn't cost much to set up a domain and have it hosted. Plus there is software available that will literally create 100s of blogs in minutes from your top keywords.

The "clued in" inernet marketers making the moola are those that have taken action in the above way. I myself am guilty at times of looking at a plan and just not having the power to take it through to the end. This I believe is what happens to many when they even comtemplate creating 100s of sites.

The sad fact is that if you don't get of your backside and at least create one site then you are NEVER going to make Internet Marketing your full-time career.

Rome wasn't built in a day and neither will your Google Adsense Empire.

Making Google Adsense Pay

Are you earning a lot from Google Adsense? Google adsense does pay but it is vitally important to weigh up a few factors before proceeding. Find out what you need to know.

From what I am reading in online forums and discussion boards, Google adsense is still ruling the roost, in terms of popularity, for those wanting to start earning money from home.

I personally, have Google adsense ads on most of my websites and I find that even with the lowest of daily impressions an income can be earned. Ok you won't make a fortune with a few hits per day but if you are constantly building websites and optimizing them for adsense then the income can REALLY add up.

A few of my most recent websites are only getting 10-20 impressions per day but really high click through rates. Some days I can earn $2-$3 per site for a couple of clickthroughs from these low traffic sites. This denotes HIGH interest from advertisers paying big bucks to Google for certain keywords.

Unbelievably, many entrepreneurs are earning six figure incomes per month from adsense revenue alone.

The smart earners are building site after site then building out the ones that show potential.

The idea is to set up sites in relatively unknown markets but also balanced with some interest in the advertising field. For instance, if you choose a niche with little or no interest from advertisers then the income will reflect this lack of interest, ie. no one will be paying google for advertising in your niche or they will be paying very little and you will earn pittance per click thru.

One site of mine in an obscure niche gets hundreds of unique visitors per day and loads of adsense clickthrus, yet the income is only a dollar or two daily. This tells me that advertisers are paying very little, probably in and around 10 cents, for keywords in my niche.

At the other end of the spectrum you DO NOT want to choose a niche with so much competition that you cannot get any traffic at all. The 'work at home', 'home business', 'internet marketing' niches are not good examples for a newcomer to make money from Google adsense. The competition is just too great. If you DO already have an established home business site then by all means add some adsense ads to your site.

Like everything else I have done online I have learnt through trial and error, Google adsense has been no different. If you don't put the ads out there then you will never know the potential.

I do get some clickthrus from my home business sites and the click thru rates can be anything from 10-15 cents to $1-2. Not bad!

Google adsense is definitely here to stay for the forseeable future and we can all see why. If you have any vision at all you can see the potential in earning from Google adsense and exactly why it has become so popular.

How to Monetize your site using AdSense

Sometimes website owners begin to wonder if they will ever make money off their product or service. In this article I give you other ideas on how to make money with your website, even if you don’t sell products or services.

My experience with AdSense

As an owner or contributor to many sites, not just search engine related, I’ve come to learn a thing or two about monetizing a site.

The thing is, I don’t mind writing for these sites – it gives me an outlet because my mind is always racing with new article ideas.

On one of my sites is about console gaming: Xbox, Nintendo and so on. It’s not a huge site, but I get some decent visitors. I have a friend who writes for a similar site that deals with portable gaming units like the Nintendo DS and the Sony PSP.

When we started writing it was for fun and to bring some news to the world. Kind of like a console gaming news aggregator.

So when Google came out with their AdSense product I applied for an account immediately. Since I work in the industry I knew about AdSense long before most people and got an AdSense account within 48 hours of applying for it.

The setup was quite easy. I logged into a web based console and the system helped me pick the types of ads I wanted to display and even helped generate the code to insert into my pages so the ads matched the same font and background color of the site.

All in all it took me about 15 minutes to sign in, generate the code and paste it onto my page template. Now, every page on this site has Google Ads displayed.

And the great part is the ads are related to the content of the pages. For my Nintendo pages, all the ads relate to Nintendo while for the Xbox pages all ads relate to Xbox.

And the best part of this is that for every click on an ad I make a few cents.

Now, I don’t make a lot of money on AdSense, but there are sites out there that do. Weblogs Inc. is a series of blogs all built around themes. A recent interview with the founder showed that the sites are on par to make over $1 million in AdSense revenue this year. That’s right $1 million from AdSense.

So you can see that AdSense could be a way to make money in addition to whatever else you do on your site.

How do you get an AdSense account?

Well the first thing you need to do is apply for an account.

It’s quite simple really, you give some basic information such as the URL of the site that will host the ads, your contact information and so on, and submit your application.

Google responds fairly quickly and generally your site will be accepted if it meets their guidelines and policies. You can find more information on these policies on the AdSense site.

Once you’ve been accepted it is a matter of creating your ad code, of which there are two basic types.

AdSense for Content

AdSense for Content is the most common type of ad displayed. These are the ads you see on sites that are marked with “Ads by Goooogle” either above or below the ads, much like the ads you see on Google’s site.

The display formats vary for these types of ads which you can see on the AdSense site here. As you will see, there are a variety of layouts available, from text ads to banners.

Once you’ve selected the type of ads you want to display on your site, you pick the number of ads, and apply a style.

Pick a style which matches your site. In other words, try and pick one that has the same color background and text as your site. This way they don’t stand out as much.

Finally, copy the code provided by Google (yup they even provide that for you - pretty simple hey?) and paste it on your page where you want it. Google even provides ideas on the best placement of your ads. Check this page out for more information on ad placement.

AdSense for Search

As the name implies, this is a Google search box which you’d place on your site that searches Google and returns Google results. For these searches you can earn money as well.

Google even allows you to customize the search box by changing the colors to match your site and even insert your own logo if you’d like.

Then, when you’ve added this feature to your site, your visitors will be able to search Google or search your site and, as I mentioned, if they select an ad you get a cut of that money. You can even find out what phrases people were searching for.

Tracking your Performance

Once you have the ad code(s) inserted into your site the first ads you will likely see are PSA (Public Service Announcements). This is because Google uses its advanced crawling technology to crawl the pages where the ad code are found and matches ads to the content.

Therefore if you check back in 15 or 20 minutes you should see ads that closely match the content of the page on which the ad code is found.

Google also offers you a way to monitor your AdSense account’s performance.

By logging into the AdSense console you can generate tons of different reports showing click through rates, impressions, average returns per click and more.

Further, you can get more advanced as time goes on, by setting up channels and tracking them separately. Google now allows for 200 channels. Which means you can have 200 different ad display types scattered throughout your site.

Lets say, for example, that you want a search box as well as ads, but you have different places you want to place ads on your home page as your internal pages.

By using channels, you can track the clicks separately to see which types of ad positions perform better. This allows you to find the best place on your pages to place ad code to make the most money.

Show me the money!

Payments for AdSense are pretty straight forward. Google will mail you a check or you can sign up for their beta direct deposit program.

If you click on the “My Account” tab you can edit your payment preferences.

Google only pays out monthly on $100 or more. So if you don’t have more than $100 by the end of the month, the total will roll over into the next month and continue to grow until you do have $100 or more by the end of the month.

I remember when I got my first check – I was so excited. I was expecting a check with the Google logo – you know like the logo they have on their home page. Turns out it was a very official looking corporate type check. Too bad – I was going to scan it and save a copy of my first Google check.

Some final thoughts

If you find that your site just doesn’t generate enough clicks in a month to generate at least the $100 minimum, you can use your ad code on other sites which do drive more traffic.

If you know someone who has a high traffic site but isn’t taking advantage of a program like AdSense, I’d recommend contacting them to see if they’d be willing to display ads on their site. Perhaps you can make a deal with him – splitting the ad revenue. Be careful not to distribute your code on too many sites, though, as you could set up flags because your clicks have gone up so quickly in a short time.

One thing some people have been known to do is create content specifically for high paying ads. I read a story once about a guy who built a blog around asbestos removal. He didn’t know anything

That way you can monetize your site (and others) using AdSense in addition to your existing products or services.

Adsense - Playing By The Rules

AdSense has become a major part of many Internet marketers income portfolios. It's fast and easy and of course very lucrative if you take the time to learn how to implement it effectively.

Like most income streams though, there are always people out there who do their best to take advantage of the system in any way they can to maximize their earnings. Exploiting systems by taking advantage of the shortcomings or bugs in the system is generally a short term deal. As soon as the supplier finds out that they are either not getting or not providing value for their service, they will very quickly close any 'holes' and fix the bugs. When you take into account the millions of dollars that are generated from Adsense ads each month, it goes without saying that Google will go to great lengths to ensure that their advertisers are getting good value for their advertising dollar.

With this in mind, if you intend to monetize your site with Adsense and want this to be a long term income strategy you need to be familiar with the terms and conditions. Lets strip away some of the 'legalese' and take a look at some of the policies, requirements and also the type of activity that may cause your account to be terminated.

* Up to three ad units may be displayed on each Web site page – that's pretty clear. You can have up to 3 ad units, regardless of size or placement, on each of your web pages.

* A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page – again, that's easy enough to understand. The search boxes are the ones that allow you or your visitors to search the Internet or your web site using a Google Search box on your web page.

* A single link unit may be placed on each Web site page, in addition to the ad units and search boxes – the link units are a different format to standard adsense units. They provide just the link with no URL or additional text. You can have one of these in addition to your adsense ads and search boxes.

* A single referral button per product may be placed on a page – Google will pay you for referrals, but you are allowed only one referral link on each web page.

Those policies spell out what you are allowed to do. Now lets look at things you aren't allowed to do. From an advertisers point of view, the quality of the page their advertisement is displayed on will bear a relation to the quality of the visitors who actually click on this page. This is one of the reasons you are not permitted to place ad units on pages that have no other content. The rule of thumb is that you should only be placing ad units on pages that contain some sort of valuable or useful content.

The reality is that it is in your interest to provide useful content. The better your content is, the more likely it is that it will appear higher in the search engines. This in turn brings you more traffic and the traffic you get is mostly people who are interested in the subject matter of your site. These also happen to be the people who are most likely to click on your ads simply because they have come to your web site looking for information and/or products.

Other things that you need to avoid in order to protect your account include:

* Never place ad units on pornographic, racist or hate related sites.

* Never place ad units on error, registration or 'thank you' pages. Remember, the advertisers want their ads on useful, relevant pages. Common sense should tell you that these pages are neither relevant or useful for advertising. It's a bit like placing an ad inside a cabinet. Nobody goes there looking for information or products!

* Never click on any of the ads on your website. This is considered fraud (for obvious reasons). If you do accidentally click on an ad, make sure you contact Google support immediately and let them know which page and the date and approximate time.

* Never place ads on pages that you display in Traffic or surfing/hit exchanges. This is mentioned in the policies and is not permitted.

I hope this information has been useful. Adsense is a great way to earn some extra income, but you need to make the effort to ensure you are within the terms and conditions. At the end of the day, common sense should give you a good indication whether you are doing the right thing with Adsense ads. If in doubt, check the programme policies at https://www.google.com/adsense/policies.

7 Steps Of Mega Adsense Earners

The Google AdSense program is like finding money in the street.

Kids in High School are making thousands of dollars a month with Adsense... Housewives, Retiree's, Mom and Pop's who've never made a dime on the Internet have created full time incomes by simply placing AdSense Ads on their web site or blog.

Then you have the "Super AdSense" earners. We have all heard of them... the Elite few who are on track to make half a million dollars a year or more promoting AdSense sites.

Do not be mistaken though... these people are not building like your Mom and Pop's do. They have systems in place that create sites for them... people who build sites for them... they have outsourced and automated many of the tedious tasks such as posting to blogs and searching for keywords.

While most people cannot emulate everything these Super AdSense earners do... many of them you can.

Here are 7 Required Steps you can implement today to copy their success.

1) Starting today... treat your AdSense business like it is a REAL business and track what you do.

Begin tracking what you are doing that works... as well as what you are doing that does not work. This will keep you from making the same mistakes over and over, and you can repeat the steps that have worked in the past. As simple as this step seems... most people do not know the reason(s) to their success or failure.

2) Utilize the latest tools and software available.

The Super AdSense earners are not any smarter than your average person. I know many people think they are... but for the most part, they are regular non techie people.

They are smarter in one respect though... they use the latest tools available to them to automate most of the tasks involved with researching and creating sites. They use the latest keyword, site creation and search engine optimization tools available. The tools they use are their secret weapons.

3) Quit chasing the Mega Dollar keywords.

You cannot compete with the search engine experts who create sites for the $80 payout keywords. You may get lucky every now and then... but in the long run, you are better off building sites for the low to mid range payout keywords. The competition is less, and your chance of success is much higher over the long term.

4) Choose broad niches and break it down.

Choose a broad subject as your main theme (lets use computers for an example). From there... break it down into as many sub niches as possible.

Using Computers as the example... you could build sub niches/sites like laptop computers, computer hard drives, computer keyboards, etc, etc. You could literally build hundreds of sites around one major theme and stay totally focused. Once you have exhausted every possible sub niche of that major theme... choose another main theme and repeat the process.

5) KISS

Keep your sites easy to navigate and forget the fancy graphics that distract your visitors attention. Unless you are just building AdSense sites for the fun of it and to impress your friends... the purpose of having the site is to have people click on one of the ads, right? Then keep the site layout simple... dump the scrolling banners, dancing chickens and colored scroll bars... they are distractions.

6) What is the purpose of your web site?

Your web site cannot be everything to everybody. If you have a full fledged ecommerce site, with products for sale... links to other products, it is not a good site for AdSense. If the primary focus of the site is to sell products... let it do that.

Do not distract or confuse your visitor with to many options or choices. The best AdSense sites are AdSense only content sites that sell nothing. They are sites that "Tell"... not "Sell."

7) Be consistent.

This is not one of those deals where you build one site and you are done. Refer back to Step #4. You must continuously build in order to be successful.

Think of it as planting a crop that you will harvest in a month or two, and the sites you build are seeds. Once the seeds have grown and matured... you will reap the harvest. The more seeds you plant... the larger the harvest.

To sum it up... utilize the tools available to automate as much of the process of building sites - doing research and building keyword lists as you can. This alone will help keep you organized and on track. Be consistent in building... treat it like the business it is and you will reap the rewards of your harvest.
